Moms with Cameras Workshop

If you know me, you know that I am constantly following me kids around with my camera. Oh, you're walking around the house wearing your sister's oversized shoes? (click, click.) Oh, sitting inside of the tiny little built in cubby in our entertainment center (click, click.) And you've lined up all fifty of your dolls in a row so you can play school? (click, click.) Yep, that's me...the crazy mom taking a million picture of her kids doing totally ordinary things...but I love every single one of those pictures.

Coming up on February 8th, from 6-9pm, I'll be hosting a Moms with Cameras workshop for other picture crazy moms. We'll be going over how to take incredible pictures of your children, with  focus on keeping pictures natural, real, and genuine...the way your kids really are. We'll be going over lighting, composition, camera modes (nothing too in depth or technical here), and even how to coerce your kids into a few happy-smiley family pictures every now and then. We'll briefly go over some editing and we'll even break out our cameras for some practice. :) This class isn't designed for those looking at going pro or even mastering ever aspect of their dslrs (see my Learning to Shoot class for that!)...it's just a great workshop to help you capture some incredible pictures of your kids!

If you'd like to join me for an evening of pictures, photography info, food, and lots of fun, send me an email at yvette@bgphotography.biz. I'll be reserving ten slots for the first sign up. The cost will be $75 and will include refreshments, class materials, and some great company. :) And after class, you're welcome to continue asking questions via email or facebook.

Thanks and looking forward to it!
