Adorable Little Miss is Turning Two! - Tucson Child Photographer

Blond hair, blue eyes, an adorable personality, and an upcoming second birthday = a great reason for a photo shoot in downtown Tucson. Little Miss came dressed for the occasion in a great black and white checkered dress and awesome red converse (I'm so happy they have these in kid sizes...I've got to get my little girl a pair!). We headed to one of my favorite downtown locations for this family photo shoot and had fun trying to keep Little Miss from pointing out every bus and train that went by. I can't believe how well this little girl could work the camera...a million smiles all around :) Happy birthday sweet girl!

Meet One of My Favorite Families- Tucson Family Photographer

It was so wonderful to get to take pictures for our dear friends last week. This sweet family has been a part of our lives since my husband and I were in college...and it's crazy to think that we first met them eleven years ago. Our lives had changed a lot since then (marriages, kids, way too many moves to count), but I'm thankful that our friendship hasn't changed. Here's some of our pics from that day. Hope you enjoy.

{Haley}'s Senior Pics

I had such a great time this weekend with Haley. She's one of the sweetest, most out-going, and active seniors I've ever met. We decided to do her shoot both downtown, to show off her sweet and sophisticated side, and then to highlight her fun-loving nature we headed to one of my favorite Tucson places, the zoo. I really love how we were capture so many sides of this gorgeous girl. I hope you love these pics as much as I do!  (And if you're interested having gorgeous senior pics like Haley's you can find more information at my website at www.bgphotography.biz.)

Mr {P} and Mr {H} Are Having a Party! - Tucson Child Photographer

I just love repeat clients! I was thrilled to get a chance to take pics for these two adorable boys on the occasion of their first and fifth birthdays. Not only are these boys super easy to work with, but they are great in front of the camera. With their sparkling boys eyes and blonde hair mom knows she's got to watch out for these two when they get older! :)

Mom brought along some bubbles to entertain the boys, and boy did Mr {H} get into them!

These boys are the best of friends, and I just love getting to capture that with my camera. I can just imagine them looking through these pictures together when they're older, laughing at how much fun they had together. Thoughts like these make me fall in love with photography all over again (yes, I'm feeling a bit sappy tonight).

Well boys, you are hilarious and fun and cute and sweet (and did I mention well behaved?). Can't wait to see you all again soon!

Meet Baby {S}! - Tucson Newborn Photographer

Baby S was only six days old when he came to my in-home studio for newborn pics. I just loved watching these new parents hold and cuddle their little boy. It took me back to those first few days with my daughter, when I wasn't sure what to do or how to do it, but the love and excitement of holding my little girl was more than enough to get us through those tough first days.

It's so much fun when a family comes to me with ideas for their photo shoot. Mom and dad were so excited to incorporate their love of sports (specifically the University of Georgia) and their faith with images that captured the adorable little details of their new baby boy. I love the way these turned out!

After some family pics, Baby S fell fast asleep and we were able to pose him with his daddy's Bible.

Side note- this is actually a chips and dip tray that we used for a prop!

And for my favorite shot of the night...gotta love those wrinkly feet!

The {J} Family!

Second times a charm! Originally the {J} family had scheduled a Christmas family photo shoot but the rain messed up our plans and we had to wait until after all the Christmas festivities died down to get in this shoot. I'm so glad we were able to fit this in because I really enjoyed getting to know this family.  Two photogenic and active boys, a beautiful mom, and a caring and involved dad...could a family photographer ask for anything more?

These boys were just too adorable! I loved how baby brother kept mimicking everything his older brother was doing! It reminded me of the two little ones running (and crawling) around my house.

Mom brought along cars for the boys to play with during the shoot, and they loved creating car crashes down all these stairs!

My favorite pic of the day comes from the beginning of the shoot when big brother wanted nothing to do with the camera. Sometimes these moments make the best shots, don't you think?
