Meet One of My Favorite Families- Tucson Family Photographer

It was so wonderful to get to take pictures for our dear friends last week. This sweet family has been a part of our lives since my husband and I were in college...and it's crazy to think that we first met them eleven years ago. Our lives had changed a lot since then (marriages, kids, way too many moves to count), but I'm thankful that our friendship hasn't changed. Here's some of our pics from that day. Hope you enjoy.

 

So Many Curls - Tucson Family Photographer

I loved getting to meet this sweet family this weekend. The two little girls (and their lovely mom) had gorgeous curls and looked so beautiful all dressed up for pictures.  Dad was so engaged and gentle with his girls and it was so nice to watch their interaction.

 

 
Big sister was a natural in front of the camera, smiling and posing before I even had my gear out of the bag. I was expecting little sister (who's nearly two) to be more of a challenge to photograph, but she was so photogenic and just adorable following after her sister.

 

 These kids had so much fun playing around with their parents. I just love this!

 

 

My favorite shots of the night were two sweet pictures of mom and dad together. Dad was sure good at making everyone laugh!

A Sweet Couple and their Pup - Tucson Couple Photographer

Sometimes you just know when you walk away from a session that you're gonna wind up with some spectacular images. That's exactly what happened this weekend after I took pics of Ashley, Patrick, and their super sweet (and obedient!) pup. Because they tend to move around quite a bit they asked if we could start off with pics in their home. It turned out to be a perfect backdrop for some wonderful candid shots (my favorite type of photography!).

 

 

After some indoor shots we headed outdoors and found this great courtyard nearby. We had to bring the pup along, and he came with all his Christmas cheer. :)

And just as the sun was setting we found time for a few more pics at home.

Backyard Fun- Tucson Family Photographer

A night away from the kids and how do I spend it? Camera in hand I headed out for dinner with my bestie. Before we left I had to grab a few shots in her gorgeous traditional Tucson backyard. Her husband was kind enough to indulge me.

The dogs had to join in the fun!
